BOUT THE ARTIST: The Clayton State University Chorale has three major goals, focusing on the music, the individual, and the school. Chorale is where students are given the opportunity to explore and to perform great choral works. Works of a challenging nature are chosen to encourage both musical skill and appreciation. The chorale is also designed to encourage each individual to attain his or her greatest potential as a singer and ensemble member. Students are encouraged to explore all colors on their vocal palette and to use them in concord with their fellow singers. Lastly, the chorale is designed to give public performances of high quality, to create public interest in Clayton State University and to recruit new students to the department of music.
